Local funding of $130,000 will have a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of Southlanders.

The Invercargill Licensing Trust and ILT Foundation have each confirmed $65,000 in funding for Presbyterian Support Southland over the next year.

Funding levels have been retained from previous years and will be allocated across Family Works programmes including the Parenting Programme, the Dedicated Intake Service and Social Work Support and Counselling.

PSS Marketing and Communications Manager Shelley Erskine said the funding would support many Southland families in need.

“Our organisation simply could not help as many families as we do, or have the positive impact that we do, without the support of local funders.”

“We are hugely appreciative of the ongoing support of the ILT and ILT Foundation. Their support of the work we do – in both financial and general terms - enables us to make a real difference in the lives of Southland families.”
