New Zealanders have named Presbyterian Support (Enliven) as their ‘Most Trusted Aged Care and Retirement Village Brand’.
The accolade comes from the independent, commissioned 2017 Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brand Survey.
Respondents highlighted Presbyterian Support (Enliven) for its not-for-profit values, genuine care, honesty, high quality aged care and retirement services and support.
Presbyterian Support’s Enliven Southland Director Julia Russell said the recognition was credit to the enthusiastic, dedicated and compassionate staff that represents the organisation.
“Trust is the cornerstone of the aged care industry,” she said
Our team know the importance of providing a full range of care for residents, knowing about their lives, and understanding their physical and emotional needs.
“It is wonderful to have this organisation get recognition for the work that it does and the important part it plays in people’s lives.”
Southlanders have long put their trust in Presbyterian Support’s Aged Care Services; the organisation has been providing high quality, locally responsive services in Southland for close to 100 years.
Presbyterian Support Southland Marketing and Communications Manager Shelley Erskine said national acknowledgement of that trust was a huge endorsement.
“I believe our reputation for high quality care, our wonderful staff who go out of their way to assist residents and our not-for-profit status certainly contributes to the high level of trust people put in us,” she said.
“Trust is so important and being recognised as a trusted leader in aged care is a huge boost, not just for staff but also for our residents, who are equally proud.”
Presbyterian Support (Enliven) includes a range of positive ageing and disability support services across New Zealand, including in-home support, retirement villages, rest homes, hospital and dementia care, as well as short-term respite, health recovery care and day programmes.
