There is more Christmas sparkle in Enliven’s care homes this year much to the delight of staff, residents and their families.
When H&J Smith closed its Invercargill store recently, many of its fittings and fixtures were donated to various community groups and organisations.
Enliven Southland was fortunate to receive some of the store’s beautiful Christmas decorations for its four cares. Among those decorations are some large-scale chandeliers and several decorated Christmas trees and wreaths.
“We are thrilled to receive these decorations which will be enjoyed by residents and their families for generations to come,” Enliven director Carol Riddle said.
Lyn Harvey of H&J Smith said Christmas had always been a major focus for the department store business and the company was delighted that the H&J Smith spirit of Christmas would live on in settings where they would be seen and enjoyed by so many Southlanders.
