It is that time of year again when Family Works kicks off its annual Christmas Appeal, collecting gifts to give to families in need of extra support.
For many of us Christmas is a time of joy, spending quality time with family and indulging in good food, but for others it can be a time of stress and added financial hardship.
But the Southland community is a generous one, and by working together we can help ease some of that stress, bring smiles to faces, and help to ensure these families have a wonderful Christmas.
We are thrilled to announce that The Hits – Southland 98.8FM and Bayleys Southland Real Estate have partnered with us again this year to support the appeal.
Please place new, unwrapped gifts for children and teens 10-16 years under the Christmas tree at Family Works reception,183 Spey Street or The Hits’ Christmas tree at their office on the corner of Don and Deveron Streets before Friday,15 December.
Thanks to the community’s generosity last year, we were able to give hundreds of gifts to families we support. Let’s see if we can do that again this year.
Nothing is more Kiwi than giving. Together we can make a difference.
