  • 40% weekend loading
  • $5 per hour night shift allowance

The Role:

We have full time, part time and casual roles available across our residential care homes based in Invercargill and Gore.

Our Registered Nurses are responsible for providing leadership, support and training to our team of dedicated staff to ensure the provision of quality care for our residents.

Given the nature of our residential homes, which provide care for our residents 24 hours a day 7 days a week, shift work will be required including weekend work.  Some flexibility is available for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Registered Nurse at PSS Enliven includes:

  • planning, implementing, evaluating ‘resident focused’ care for residents
  • providing a safe and comfortable environment for all residents
  • complying with all legislative and clinical best practice guidelines, ensuring accurate documentation at all stages

What you will need to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelor of Nursing qualification
  • A current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Previous experience providing medical care in a rest home or hospital environment
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts
