Personal Assistant to CEO (Invercargill)

Mō te tūraka | About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide high level, quality and timely support to our CEO including broader support to our  Boards, Governance Committees and Senior Leadership Team. 

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities:

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Providing executive support to the CEO with the management of day-to-day scheduling, activities, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Be the first point of contact and key liaison for the CEO’s office.
  • Preparation of agendas, compilation of papers, minute taking and organisation of all Governance and Senior Leadership Team meetings.
  • Oversight of the organisational policy review schedule.
  • Coordination of key events and special projects.

 Ngā pūkenga | What you will need to be successful:

  • Positivity, professionalism and confidentiality are all key attributes.
  • The capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team is critical.
  • Proven experience in an Executive Administrator, Personal Administrator or Board Secretary equivalent role.
  • Strong business acumen with a qualification in Business Administration or similar preferred
  • Expertise across Microsoft programme suite e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint
  • High level of competence in written and oral communication
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work to very tight deadlines
  • Previous experience in aged care/social services and/or not for profit sector an advantage
