Financial Administrator (Invercargill)

Mō te tūraka | About the role:

We have a full-time role (40 hours per week) for a Financial Administrator with previous experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliations to join the team at Presbyterian Support Southland.  Reporting to the Director of Finance and Business Support the role is responsible for working in a team to achieve the monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable as well as ongoing development of processes and systems.

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Processing and collection of Accounts Receivable
  • Processing and payment of Accounts Payable
  • Managing monthly reconciliations
  • Banking and cash management

Ngā pūkenga | What you will need to be successful:

  • Previous experience in an accounts administration role
  • Previous experience in accounting and banking systems (experience with Sage 300 or similar an advantage)
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Confident and effective communication skills
  • Show commitment to providing services in the spirit of the Treaty of Waitangi
